The greatest epidemic of mankind

The most widely spread, most dangerous and incurable diseases – cardiovascular - are conquered nowadays. Russian physiological scientists determined the prime cause of cardiovascular diseases (CD). They also created the instrument for its elimination.

Coronary heart disease (CHD) shows itself as stenocardia (occasional pains in regions of heart), different varieties of arrhythmia (heart rhythm disturbance) and it leads to myocardial infarction.

Essential hypertension (EH) shows itself as arterial hypertension (increased blood pressure), insomnia, migraine, dizziness, buzzing in the ears, high fatiguability, weakening of memory, vegetative vascular dystonia and it all leads to brain infarction - ischemic stroke.

- Coronary heart disease (CHD) is the most frequent cause of death (36% in Russia). World Health Organization (WHO) called CHD “the greatest epidemic of mankind”. During the last decade mortality of 35-45-year-old men caused by CHD increased by 60%.

- In USA about 7 million people suffer from stenocardia. About 350000 new cases of the disease are registered annually. Every year some 500000 Americans die of myocardial infarction.

-  Arterial hypertension (essential hypertension) is the most widespread adult illness in USA. About 50 million Americans suffer from it.

-  Every year up to 600000 cases of cerebral stroke are registered in USA (up to 400000 in Russia).

Cardiologists (not to be mixed with cardiosurgeons) are considered to be specialists in coronary heart disease and essential hypertension. The statistics indicated above testify “achievements” of cardiology. In the arsenal of means, used by cardiology, there are no methods of real preventive measures (averting) of cardiovascular diseases. In spite of the abundance of different medicines, cardiologic treatment comes to one measure: periodical temporary arterial pressure suppression and releasing stenocardia and arrhythmia attacks. Symptoms of diseases are removed, but the diseases do not disappear, and while our health worsens, the threat of infarction or stroke increases.
